The VYFC is a local, non-profit organization that promotes fitness, good sportsmanship, self-esteem, and teamwork within our local youth children ranging from grades K-8. By offering a fun, after-school and weekend activity, the VYFC gives our youth a place and opportunity to direct their boundless energy. 

While coaches, board members, and committee members are all unpaid volunteers, player registration fees alone do not cover nearly all the expenses we incur to run this program safely and effectively. We work hard to keep our registration fees as low as possible, so all children have the opportunity to join this wonderful program. However, we still greatly rely on the generosity of our sponsors and fundraising efforts to help make that a realistic possibility. It has been the generous contributions over the years that have kept our program running. 

Sponsor contributions not only help defray the general operating expenses, such as uniforms, various pieces of equipment, equipment reconditioning, insurance, field maintenance, etc., but it also helps to cover or reduce registration fees for those less fortunate who wish to still participate in this program. We do our best to never turn children and families away strictly because of financial hardship. Every child deserves to play, and we do our best, with help from the community, to make that possibility come to fruition.
